Do you have a beachfront?

Caye Caulker has never had a traditional beach. It was originally a mangrove island used by local fishermen. Over time, the island’s shoreline was cleared to allow better access, reduce mosquitoes, and support tourism.

While there’s no classic sandy beach, there are swimming areas, including:

  • The Split (a popular swim and hangout spot), just a 4-minute walk north of the hotel.

  • A ladder at the end of our dock for water access.

  • Beach loungers available in front of the hotel for guests.

US dollars are widely accepted throughout Belize. We recommend paying with USD to avoid being left with excess Belize dollars, which can be harder to exchange back. Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted at most establishments. Some may also accept American Express. Street vendors typically accept cash only.
